Studio Booking Policy

1. Booking Eligibility & Requirements

  • Studio time may be booked by individuals aged 18 and older. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian present during all sessions.

  • All bookings require a signed Studio Recording Agreement and acceptance of the Studio Rules & Etiquette Policy.

  • Bookings are subject to availability and are not considered confirmed until a deposit has been received.

2. Scheduling & Availability

  • Booking requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the desired session time.

  • Sessions are available Monday–Saturday between 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM. Sunday bookings are by request and may incur a premium rate.

  • Time slots are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Deposits & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated service total is required to secure any booking.

  • The remaining balance is due upon session completion unless otherwise stated in your agreement.

  • Sessions will not begin until full payment is made for prior services or outstanding balances.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, debit/credit card, CashApp, PayPal, and bank transfer (fees may apply).

4. Session Start, End & Grace Period

  • Clients must arrive 10-15 minutes before their scheduled start time. Time lost due to tardiness will not be credited or refunded.

  • Each session ends promptly at the scheduled time, regardless of the client’s arrival time.

  • A 10-minute grace period is provided at the end of each session for file transfers or questions. Extended time beyond this grace period is billed at the hourly rate.

5. Overtime Charges

  • Overtime is billed at $50/hour, rounded up to the nearest half-hour.

  • Overtime availability is not guaranteed and is subject to the studio’s schedule.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the session will result in a credit transfer of the deposit to a future session (within 30 days).

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session result in forfeiture of the deposit and a 25% fee of the scheduled session total.

  • No-shows or cancellations within 3 hours of the session start time will be charged the full amount of the session.

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance and will be honored once per deposit.

7. Session Types & Minimums

  • Single Song Sessions: Minimum booking of 2 hours.

  • EP/Album Sessions: Must schedule at least 3 hours per session.

  • Vocal Coaching, Mixing, Mastering, and Arranging: Minimum booking of 1 hour per service.

8. Add-On Services & Upcharges

Additional services outside the standard recording may be booked separately and require full or partial payment upfront. These include but are not limited to:

  • Vocal Lessons

  • Drum Lessons

  • Background Vocalists

  • Music Video Production

  • Photography Sessions

  • Custom Arrangements or Auxiliary Instruments

All additional services must be discussed and quoted before the session date.

9. Session Files, Ownership & Delivery

  • Final files will only be released upon full payment of all invoices.

  • All multitrack session files, stems, mixes, and masters will be delivered digitally within 3–7 business days, unless otherwise specified.

  • Clients are responsible for downloading and saving their files promptly. The studio is not obligated to store session files beyond 30 days after the session.

10. Studio Use & Guest Policy

  • Only those actively participating in the recording session are allowed in the studio.

  • Each artist is allowed one guest. Guests may wait in designated areas but are not allowed in the recording booth during hot sessions.

  • A maximum of 4 people (including the artist) may be in the studio unless pre-approved.

11. Code of Conduct

All clients and guests are expected to maintain professionalism and respect the studio environment, property, and personnel. Any violation, including:

  • Being under the influence of illegal substances

  • Verbal or physical misconduct

  • Unauthorized recording

  • Tampering with equipment

…may result in immediate session termination without refund and possible banning from future bookings.

12. Force Majeure & Studio Interruptions

Beyond Your Means Productions LLC is not liable for cancellations due to events beyond our control (e.g., power outages, natural disasters, illness, or emergency maintenance). In such cases:

  • A full credit will be issued, and the session will be rescheduled at the earliest available opportunity.

  • Clients will not be charged for time lost due to technical issues caused by the studio.

13. Policy Acceptance

By booking a session with BYMP, you agree to adhere to this Booking Policy and all supporting studio agreements. Failure to comply may result in penalties, refusal of service, or legal action.
